SCOTT MCWILLIAMS

Scott served as executive vice president of Strategic Development from 2014-2018. He joined GEODIS (formerly OHL) in 1990 and was appointed chief executive officer of GEODIS in 2001 and served in that position from 2001-2010.  He previously served as president from 1996-2001 after serving in various operations positions within the company. Prior to joining GEODIS, Mr. McWilliams worked for the Kroger Company and Super X Food and Drug.
   Based in Brentwood, Tennessee, GEODIS is one of the largest third party logistics providers in the world, providing integrated global supply chain management solutions including transportation, warehousing, customs brokerage, freight forwarding and import and export consulting services.  Since its inception in 1951, GEODIS now operates more than 135 value-added distribution centers, offers comprehensive transportation management services, employs nearly 10,000, and has offices in 14 countries worldwide. In 2014, GEODIS had gross revenue of over $1.3 billion.   

     Mr. McWilliams is an active member of Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the International Warehouse Logistics Association.  He was a member of the Nashville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, and served on the editorial advisory board of DC Velocity magazine.  Mr. McWilliams currently serves on the boards of directors for the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville, Justice Industries, United Way of Metropolitan Nashville and three privately help third party logistics providers.  He is a member at Belle Meade Methodist Church, and has previously served on the boards of the Warehouse Education and Research Council, American Red Cross, American Heart Association, Second Harvest Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, Alive Hospice, Quality Packaging Specialists International and Jobs for Life.  

    Mr. McWilliams has a BS degree in logistics from the University of Tennessee.
