Born and raised in Chicago, Sonnet wasn’t always around firearms. However, after relocating to Tennessee, she quickly developed a deep passion for firearms and training. Embracing her new home, she immersed herself in the world of pistols and self-defense, becoming a skilled instructor with a focus on carry methods, concealment, and situational awareness.
Sonnet leads the New Shooter Course, helping beginners become comfortable and confident with their firearms, laying the foundation for a lifetime of safe, responsible gun ownership. But her expertise doesn’t stop there. She also assists with training in Home Defense and Reality Based Scenarios courses, where she helps students navigate high-stress situations through scenario-based training. This allows her clients to build skills not only in technique but in decision-making under pressure—preparing them for the unexpected.
Sonnet specializes in helping individuals and couples gain confidence with their firearms, especially those new to carrying or looking to improve their skill set. Known for her practical, approachable style, Sonnet incorporates humor and relatability into her lessons, making each class engaging and accessible, whether for individuals, couples, or groups. Whether you’re new to concealed carry or looking to sharpen your technique, Sonnet's goal is to help you leave feeling more secure in your abilities and more aware of your surroundings.
